Is There A New Update On The Way?

The image below was posted on the official Tapped Out Facebook page late last night with this message:

 A new prophecy has been discovered in Springfield and, unlike the old prophecy, we’re pretty sure this one isn’t just a coupon for the Kwik-E-Mart. Can you solve the riddle on parchment and discover who the “chosen one” is?

It reads:

A bald head as round as his belly, the chosen one wanders, a town of movement and land.

This riddle is not one of the original sacred parchment riddles that were included at the beginning of the event, and that’s what’s leading me to believe that something new is on the way.

Lets take a closer look at what it could mean, shall we? The chosen one, for those of you who have seen the episode is Homer, so I’d be willing to bet it’s got something to do with him. It’s the last six words that interest me the most, “a town of movement and land”. What could it mean? Well, movement could refer to the monorail they mentioned at the start of the year, or the ability to place cars on the road perhaps. The land bit is fairly obvious, we could finally be getting some more of it! I would like to point out that there have been signs of new land in the files for months but there’s no price attached to it so it’s hard to tell when, if at all, it will come.

Regardless, stick with us for more info as I’ll be posting anything new that I can get my hand on!

  1. Maybe this is what you’ll have to do: make homer be the chosen one. The bald head refers to homers head( 2 hairs and that’s it) the belly also refers to homer. Homer is the chosen one, he walks through town when you give him that mission, and movement could refer to the fact that you can move buildings (haven’t seen that in real cities so far😜) i’m only not sure what’s with the land thingy…

  2. Love how well you guys keep us updated ! Keep up the amazing work! I read all your posts! Excited to see what’s next and I know I’ll hear it here first! Also I think stampy was a trial run for cars that will be able to drive around in the streets!

  3. Don’t know if it’s just me, but the “town of movement and land” sounds like Springfield. ‘Spring’ = movement (i.e. Verb. To move or jump suddenly or rapidly upwards or forwards), ‘field’ = land

  4. I think maybe it could be the easter egg of the event 😉 For those who didn’t found it, send Homer singing the Stonecutter song, When the task begins, tap on Homer quickly around 10 times and you will get a hidden bonus of 10 delicious donuts 🙂

  5. Can the last bit refer to Springfield. Spring being a movement and field being a type of land. A town of movement (spring) and land (field).

  6. ‘A Town of Movement’; like, a Spring? …’and Land’; a Field! A Field is Land;
    So, ‘A Town of Movement and Land’ is Springfield!
