Neighbour Visits Are Pointless!

So, we’ve been enjoying this event for the past number of days and I’ve come to realise something – neighbour visits are completely pointless this time around!

When you visit a neighbour, assuming they’ve updated that is, you get just one spade per action, meaning you get just 3 spades per visit, per neighbour.

Unlike other events though, it is possible to get event currency from all of your neighbours. However it just doesn’t seem worth all the effort this time around.

As for the weird ass green things in neighbours towns – they are more likely to give you crafting materials rather then spades and besides, you can accumulate crafting materials easily enough in your own town.

The premium farmers licence doesn’t do much either. It just doubles the number of spades you get in neighbours towns from 3 – 6. So not worth what they’re asking for it.

So, with that little rant out if the way, will you be visiting your neighbours?

I’m Looking For Neighbours!

I’ve had a clear out of neighbours who don’t play anymore so I’m on the hunt for some new ones! I don’t think I need to tell you how often I play this game because I’m always here talking about it! I will add you on a first come first serve basis.

This post will be deleted in a few hours so I’m not inundated with requests after I fill my friends list.

EDIT: Thanks for the requests guys!

You Can Now Remove Friends In Game!

Bart Simpson Looking Cut Out

Along with a raft of bugs and other issues, this update now lets you remove your neighbours while in-game! Follow the steps below and you’ll be able to get rid of those inactive neighbours in no time!

  1. Open your neighbours screen by tapping on the picture of Bart and Milhouse
  2. Once you do that, click on the tab with Bart and Milhouse on it once again
  3. Scroll down to where it says neighbours, it should be about half way down
  4. Tap on the name of the neighbour you’d like to remove
  5. Then tap Unfriend in Origin

Your neighbour should now be removed and you can now accept more friend requests to fill up those spaces.

How Many Neighbours Can I Have?

100

You are only allowed to have a maximum of 100 neighbours.

Your friends get an error message if they try to add you when you already reached the limit. The same thing happens if you try to add someone who already has 100 friends.

Most likely the limit is due to server capacity. The Origin social servers sometimes have problems keeping things running smoothly (or at all).  So don’t worry you’ll find that 100 friends is more than enough, even during special events.

Happy Tapping!

🙂

How Do I Add Neighbours?

In case you didn’t know this is a social game! One of highlights of the game is getting to visit “other Springfields” and see what your friends have done! Not to mention, you can collect money, Krustyland tickets & XP from them too.

Not sure how to do it? Well first things first you’ll need to create an origin account. Creating an origin account not only allows you to add friends to the game, but it also allows you to save the game so if your device decides to crash your town is safe.

So, assuming you’ve created your origin account adding friends is really easy!

Visiting Neighbors: Why Krustyland is the better choice

Image

So you’re visiting your neighbor and you wonder what happens if I collect in Krustyland and not Springfield? Good question and there are 3 answers.

Image

The first thing you’ll notice of course is when visiting your neighbors Springfield you’ll get XP and Cash just like you get in your own town.

In Krustyland however you’ll get tickets and xp.

Image

This of course is the obvious changes but there is also another benefit to collecting in Krustyland that many are not aware of.

In Springfield you receive 16 cash and 2 xp from each building you tap and in Krustyland you receive 4 tickets and 3 xp from each attraction you tap.

Notice that you get more xp in KL than in SF. You potentially can get 3 extra xp from each neighbor each day by visiting their KL instead of their SF which over time will help you level up faster.

So there you have the benefits of tapping in Springfield is more cash while Krustyland brings you more tickets and more xp.

Oh and you newer players who don’t yet have Krustyland fear not because you can still collect in your neighbors Krustyland for tickets that will be there waiting for you when you do in fact start your Krustyland.

So the choice is yours which you would rather tap in.

Happy Tapping.
