What’s The Deal With ‘Bunny Carrots’?

easter-470

I’m sure by now most of you have reached part 8 of the Easter questline and have been asked to grow Bunny Carrots on Cletus’ Farm. But what do they do? Do you get anything in return? Of course you do!

They take four hours to grow and according to the on screen text, you’re awarded ‘Bunny Carrots’ Obviously that’s not entirely true! What you’re actually awarded is 12 bunnies, these bunnies will give you 12 eggs. That means if you grow them on average four times a day, you’ll get a total of 48 eggs a day more than you would’ve had you not been growing carrots!

You do need to be careful though! You will NOT get any bunnies or eggs upon completion of growth if your town is over run with bunnies already. You won’t get any if your neighbour taps on your farm before you get a chance to harvest them either! I recommend growing Triffids overnight to avoid this possibility!

Looking To Buy Some Eggs? Here Are Your Options

Thinking of spending doughnuts to get some extra eggs? Well here are all of your options. Eggs can be purchased from the premium section of the store. You cannot buy gold eggs from the store, they are obtained by trading in blue and pink eggs for prizes.

Common & Uncommon Eggs; Explained

Well, after visiting all but two of my neighbours, because they had nothing to tap on, I feel reasonably confident in that I can explain common and uncommon eggs.

Common Eggs

Common eggs are the colour eggs you find most often in your Springfield or whilst out visiting neighbours. So that means if you find more blue, than you do pink, your common egg is blue. If you find more pink, your common egg is pink. Seems simple enough.

Uncommon Eggs

Uncommon eggs are basically the opposite to common eggs. They are the eggs you find least often. Meaning, if you find blue a lot of the time, your uncommon egg is pink. It the opposite if you find pink more often then not. Your uncommon egg will be blue.

Event Currency – What Is It This Time?

As long time players will know, with each fairly substantial event, we’re given some kind of limited edition currency. For example, at Halloween we had goo and for Christmas we had gift cards. But what is it this time? Well, it’s a bit odd this time around. There is a limited time currency, which this year is eggs, but oddly enough, there are three DIFFERENT types of egg.

The eggs are available in three different colours – blue, pink and gold. The blue and pink eggs are the most kind of egg you’ll find, although you could find more of one then the other. Golden eggs though, they’re rare.

Blue and pink eggs can be gotten from visiting neighbours and tapping on their buildings (but not from spray painting) by doing your regular daily actions. Gold, as I’ve said, is rare. Gold eggs cannot be obtained from neighbours. They are instead obtained through turning in your blue and pink eggs in for their respective prizes. I’ll be posting more on prizes later on today. So, it’s a little confusing right now but I hope to clear it all up (or make it worse) through other posts later today.
