Updated Menu Bar

I’ve updated the sites menu bar with a new tab called ‘Contact EA’. Clicking on the link will now take you directly to the Simpsons dedicated help section and give you the ability to message with tech support to try and resolve any issue you might have.

If you have any other suggestions on how I can improve the site, drop a comment below and I’ll see what I can do!

EA Issue A Fix For The Gil Deal

EA have released a small patch that should fix the issues that some players have been having with the latest Gil deal. If after downloading the patch and you still don’t see Gil, open a ticket with EA and they should be able to fix it for you.

NOTE: You will only get this update and see Gil if you DON’T own Otto. If you do own him, there’s noting available for you to do as of yet. Should EA release any further updates, I’ll let you know!

Contacting EA – How Do I Do It?

Apu Crazed

A couple of days ago I posted about what you should do if you win a premium item that you already own, provided that you can only have one of them, such as Hans Moleman. I suggested that you contact EA, but I never actually told you how! So, here’s how;

EA customer support deal with every problem that you could have with the game. Things like missing items, lost characters and disappearing doughnuts and everything in between! But how do you get that help and what’s the best way to contact them?

Well, first of all try this: https://help.ea.com/en/the-simpsons/the-simpsons-tapped-out

This is the general help page. It’s filled with the solutions of the most common problems that players will at one point or another, come up against. Things like problems updating and missing Springfield’s.

But, if your problem is not covered here, you’ll need to contact an EA game advisor. To contact a game advisor, please click the following link: http://help.ea.com/en/contact-us/new/?product=the-simpsons-tapped-out. Once here, follow the on screen instructions and you’ll start getting the answers you want in no time!

NOTE: It can take up to 48 hours for EA to respond. It can be longer depending on a number of factors.

An Update From EA Regarding Missing Characters

This was posted on the 21st of October but I’ve been so busy I haven’t had a chance to share it until now!

The team are scanning the complete database for that issue and run the fix on every account where she is stuck. It can take a few days until all the games are fixed. Many, many people are playing this game after all.

For other characters (not Lisa or Homer) you can put the building the character came with into your inventory and back into the town again. This will reset the character.

The devs are also implementing a fix with the next build that should avoid that characters get stuck in the future. Until then they’ll run the scan and fix everyone that has the issue.

You can see the original posting on the EA forum here (clicking on the link will open a new tab) or find out how to contact EA for assistance here (clicking on the link will open a new tab).
