A quick reminder that at 9am GMT tomorrow morning EA will be removing the mystery box as it stands in its current form, most likely back to the old crappy one so if you want something out of it, get it while you can because you don’t have long left!
So the mystery box is all new and improved since our latest update and everyone’s been given a free one to celebrate. I myself got 2 for free because of the daily bonus, and I bought a few. Here’s what I got and keep in mind I already have all the unique items;

So as you can see I done quite well, more importantly though, how did you get on?
EA have updated the mystery box and the prizes are much better. That said, it’s only for a limited time because the regular mystery box returns on May 1st. The updated one now costs 6 doughnuts and every player will get one for free when they log in. Here’s what’s inside them and remember, if you have one of the unique premium items already, you get their value in doughnuts instead!

I got my weekly mystery box today and I have to say it was particularly crappy this week. Here’s what I got;

All that hope of something cool like doughnuts dashed by a crappy angel topiary. Have you ever had something like this happen to you? If so, what did you get in the end?

Wondering what would happen if you won a premium item in a Mystery Box or Homer Buddha that you already own? Well, that depends on the item you win. If you win something like white fences, a Channel 6 News Van or Lard Lad Doughnuts, you just get to keep that item because you can have as many of them as you want. But, what if you were to win Hans Moleman, Squeaky Voiced Teen or the Springfield Tire Fire and you already own them, you will instead receive their value in doughnuts!
So, for example, if you’ve already bought Squeaky Voiced Teen for 30 doughnuts, and he comes out as your prize from the Mystery Box, you will instead receive 30 doughnuts because you can’t have more then one of him. You should automatically be given the doughnuts but, if you’re not and you find him placed in your inventory, email EA and they should be more then happy to fix it for you!
It’s not really that high at all! Believe it or not, the item that you’re more likely to win from a mystery box is, a mystery box! Here are the odds of winning all of the available prizes that the mystery box can give you.
